Wolfmother discography

The discography of Australian hard rock band Wolfmother consists of three studio albums, four extended plays (EPs), ten singles, eleven music videos, and one video album. The band have also contributed to two soundtrack albums and one tribute album by various artists. Myles Heskett, Chris Ross and Andrew Stockdale formed Wolfmother in 2000;〔 the band signed with Modular Recordings and, in September 2004, released an EP, ''Wolfmother'',〔 which peaked at number 35 on the ARIA Singles Chart. In October 2005, they released their eponymous, full-length debut album in Australia,〔 where it peaked at number three on the ARIA Albums Chart and remained in the top 100 for 90 weeks.〔〔 It was subsequently released in Europe by Island Records and in North America by Interscope Records in 2006.〔〔
Six tracks from the album ''Wolfmother'' were issued as singles; the highest-charting of these was "Joker & the Thief", which reached number eight on the ARIA Singles Chart. The album sold over 1.3 million copies worldwide,〔 and was certified quintuple platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). It was certified gold in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Heskett and Myles left Wolfmother in August 2008; Stockdale continued the band, in the following January, with Dave Atkins, Aidan Nemeth and Ian Peres. Wolf mother's next single, "Back Round", was released as a free download in March 2009.〔 The band's second album, ''Cosmic Egg'', was released in October of that year.〔 ''Cosmic Egg''s lead single was "New Moon Rising".〔 The album also peaked at number three and received a platinum accreditation from ARIA. In March 2010, the band released ''iTunes Live from Sydney'', an iTunes-exclusive live EP,〔 recorded at a free show at an Apple Store.〔
Further line-up changes occurred resulting in Peres and Stockdale being joined by Elliott Hammond, Hamish Rosser and Vin Steele.〔 This new line-up worked on the follow-up album to ''Cosmic Egg'', which was initially set for release in 2013.〔 Stockdale later announced the Wolfmother moniker would be retired; he released the material recorded by the band's final line-up as his first solo album, ''Keep Moving'' (June 2013).〔〔 Wolfmother reformed in July 2013, with Peres, Steele and Stockdale.〔 In March 2014, the band's third studio album, ''New Crown'', was released; despite little promotion it charted at number 160 on the ''Billboard'' 200.
